Marriott, Fairfield Inn, Marriott Hotels, Holiday Inn, Radisson Inn,
and Best Western.
Services and Features
From the first meeting with a customer through
years of ongoing system support, IPS collaborates with our partners
and customers to fulfill every HSIA need. Our services include
assessing, designing, and installing HSIA systems that fit the
property's requirements. Listed are typical installation and
support services offered by IPS.
System Design: From information
gathered from the site survey and/or consultations with the
property, IPS can design the system to suit your specific
requirements. Every property is different and therefore every
system design is unique. System designs may be based on wire
or wireless solutions, or a combination of both.
Internet Access:
1. True plug-and-play, no reconfiguration
of users PC. 2. VPN
support - support for a wide range of VPN's
3. Bandwidth management - ability to
control bandwidth utilization (optional)
System Installation: IPS offers
turnkey installations of the HSIA system closely monitored by a
dedicated project manager. Our project manager will schedule
all phases, any items needed, and he will work closely with the
customer and other service providers to oversee the completion of
your High-Speed Project. We also are aware that hotel properties are
unique to other environments and require specific installation
skills. IPS is focused on the hospitality market and is
sensitive to these requirements. This minimizes guest
disruption while deploying the HSIA system. This is top
priority for IPS. Typical deployment tasks may consist of, but
may not be limited to the following:
1. Equipment ordering and tracking.
2. Turn-up and test of ISP circuit
3. Network equipment turn-up and programming
4. Access server programming
5. MDF work (if necessary)
6. CAT-5e or CAT-6 cable (IPS is able to complete all
needed wire and cabling)
7. IPS will rewire as needed to bring cable to HS CAT5
requirement 8.
Deploy guest rooms, meeting rooms, and business centers
9. Establish hotel administration staff
connection 10. Test
connections, features, and applications
11. Train hotel staff in use of system
12. Hand off system to IPS customer care
control center
In- Room Collateral: Typically will
have an instruction card which provides instructions in the use of
the service and a toll free number to call for assistance. The
hotel may provide this collateral or IPS can furnish it.
Training: Staff training is the
final essential component for insuring a successful high-speed
implementation. A trained staff is a sure fire way to promote
the service and increase user satisfaction. IPS provides
on-site training tailored to the hotel's environment, audience, and
timetables.
24/7 Customer Care: Our 24/7 Help
Desk serves as the initial contact for all guest room and meeting
room issues and will provide level one and level two support for
your system. Guest call a toll-free number and are instructed
on system use issues. This point of contact will be used to
resolve any user-based issues. In addition to the above
services, the Help Desk also acts as property staff level one
support for defective equipment and a single point of contact for
repair and outage notifications. IPS has built a solid
reputation by providing trained, certified service personnel
stations to cover client needs throughout Florida. This
service is available 24/7, 365 days a year by IPS local technicians
located in your area.
Network Operation Center: IPS
service are proactive, not simply break-fix, and involves continuous
monitoring of the HSIA network. Should a network problem
occur, the NOC will, in most cases, anticipate and repair the
problem before it impacts the business. We will immediately
notify the proper personnel with instructions and support to remedy
all network faults, both physical and virtual. IPS NOC allows
27/7, 365 monitoring of network devices and links and real time
notification when a network device or link has failed.
